a too late catch up part one: mayyors: collider: snot rags: future of the left: gary war
here’s what you missed during my frequent dissapearances down the rabbit hole…
obscuro-release ultra stomp somewhere betwixt hospitals, coachwhips and the amrep roster of yore. ten quid for ten minutes of music? you fucking betcha. ace! y’ll need to google for a distro though. and they don’t do the internets.
in haste (and in no way meant in the pejorative) think porcupine tree meets luna. best of all the shizzle’s free. karmically balances the mayyors expense. and (the) snot rags fidelity below.
(the) snot rags: put a little boogie in it!
kindof garagey powerpop. like a mongoloid cheap trick all cranked and recording in a giant wet cardboard box. distinctly snotty and rumbley and gorgeously cheap sounding. ticks all my boxes.
future of the left: travels with myself and another
how the fuck this passed me by i dunno. everyone knows my biggaymanlove for mcclusky and the first fotl record. yet here i am three months late to this feast of words and spikerry. better than the last shellac album. that’s how highly i rate this beast. falco i salute thee.
since every middle aged tabloid / broadsheet / gamer / chatshowhost is creaming themselves over the rerererelease of the beatles forty year old music like nobody’s done shit since, here’s a reminder why being mired in pointless nostalgia blinds to you what’s right in front of yr myopic eyeballs. psycheparty!
