the dirtbombs: live north of 8 mile

i asked recently why the fuck mick collins isn’t president of the world?  i have had no response from either the world or mick collins so really i’m no further forward regarding this matter.

so this’ll have to tide you over instead.  and yes thankfully for all involved it’s the last part of my vaguely garage-y rock themed vinyl quintet.

i know nothing of this record other than it’s a live bootleg and of exceptional quality.  at a guess it’s band-endorsed.  there’s not a lot of them out there so if you want one you’d better run.

black vinyl.  nine tracks.  white label.  sticker.  that’s it.

it’s the dirtbombs.  you need know no more.

  1. Just came across this. It’s actually recorded in Maida Vale England, not Detroit, for the John Peel show. Someone took out Mr Peel’s parts and left the music. It was recorded in 2001 and really rocks.

  2. thanks for the info fella!

it is a cracking bit of vinyl.

  3. It is an awesome slab of pure energy, that’s for sure.

  4. oh it is. but i expect nothing less from them. or mick collins.
