last days of radio (nice song, where d’ya get it?)
these songs:
immitation, not necessarily the sincerest form of flattery?
electronick headfuckery versus metal headfuckery.
bernard shakey versus the fearless freaks.
hair versus beards.
are we not men? versus why does my heart feel so bad?
boys versus girls.

I think this is my favorite music post of yours so far. No one- and I mean no one- out-does Flaming Lips. And you’ve got some great tunes up there too.

your favo(u)rite, yet the least viewed. i don’t want to suggest harmonie that you (and i) don’t have our fingers on the pulse, are not down with the kids or aren’t capturing the zeitgeist. sadly and predictably only references to vanessa hudgens, sex with bikes, cringey band reformations and the corey haim / corey feldman split get the big hits.
the flaming lips are as close as i’ll ever get to religion. with jesus as a mad-haired man in giant bubble, the apostles dressed as santa & aliens and everyone firing ticker tape, streamers and giant balloons everydamnwhere.
can i get an a-men brothas and sistahs?
